I have enjoyed life in gorgeous upstate New York nearly my entire life, born in Cooperstown
and living just a few miles from Cooperstown in Fly Creek. My great grandfather August Aufmuth made the journey from Prussia in the 1880's and planted my family roots in the rolling hills of Fly Creek valley, building and operating a cheese factory, along with his wife Cora whom he met from the local town of New Lisbon. From there his son Howard built a life at the four corners of Fly Creek with his wife Beulah, operating a general mercantile and ice cream parlor. This business was carried on by his son August Jack and wife Dottie, my Mom and Dad, who also added a liquor
store and restaurant to the excitement! Having such a deep appreciation of my family history, along with all their hard work and dedication, this is where my heart belonged and so I spent many years helping with and eventually running the family businesses in Fly Creek, until all were sold on behalf of my mom. 
A life changing move to Colorado with my own family is when my path was turned to Real Estate, and it was there in 2002 that I acquired my Broker's license, working as an associate broker in Lakewood CO until my return home in 2004. I have
remained full time in the Cooperstown Area Real Estate market area ever since, kicking off my first year with the Otsego Delaware Board of Realtors "Rookie of the Year" award. Since then, I have consecutively and gratefully received the broker's annual Cooperstown office "Top Producer" award, along with several Gold, Platinum and "National Sale's Excellence" awards. These awards are merely a reflection of all the wonderful people I have met and had the sincere pleasure of helping with their real estate needs. My clients' success has always been the greatest of these awards. Every one of us has a story to tell in this life, and that is why I felt it important to share a little of my history. As my story continues with the intricacies of time and the circle of life, I am blessed to have all three of my children close by to share life with. My youngest son Hunter holds a systems analyst position at a local insurance company, my daughter Savanna is now serving as an RN, and my oldest son Colin completed his active service with the Army a few years ago, and quickly joined me in the real estate business to help me continue serving clients in the Cooperstown Area Real Estate market, leading us to begin a new family business as CARE Brokerage.
